Fluorine-free PPAs typically adopt a devirates of fatty acid to grab small molecures and particles during extrusions

 

  • Organosilicon segments: Low surface energy, migrate to the melt–metal interface, forming an ultra-thin lubricating layer that reduces friction coefficient and shear stress;
  • Nonpolar long carbon chains: Highly compatible with PE/PP and other polyolefins, preventing migration/bleed-out and ensuring stable lubrication;
  • Polar functional groups: Adsorb selectively on screw, barrel, and die metal surfaces, forming a protective barrier that reduces melt adhesion and die buildup.
